Our 319 Convoy Run starts at the Ramona VFW post 3783 for check in and breakfast around 8 am. Each registered participant will receive a package that will need to be delivered to the Borrego Springs American Legion via the predetermined and cleared route described below. This package will contain your entry into the grand prize package.

The 319 Convoy run will take you over the beautiful Southern California desert where a stock 4x4 truck or SUV can make it without difficulty. For reference, a long bed Ford F350 crew cab successfully traversed this trail. There are three spots where our volunteers will assist the drivers through the obstacles.

One such spot is a v notch area that gets interesting for a wider wheelbased vehicle. If you're planning on driving a dually on this trip, this spot will be tricky but not impossible.

The next obstacle is called Diablo Drop Off. It's not as intimidating as it sounds and our volunteers will assist the drivers with the correct line for their vehicle to make it safely down the slope. Shortly after the drop off is another tight spot for wide wheel based vehicles.

The majority of this run is over river washes and wide trails.
